8 And the Lord God planted a garden Eastward in [a]Eden, and there he put the man whom he had made.
9 (For out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree pleasant to the sight, and good for meat: the [b]tree of life also in the midst of the garden, [c]and the tree of knowledge of good and of evil.
10 And out of Eden went a river to water the garden, and from thence it was divided, and became into four heads.
